7 Incense Burner

Bronze statue by my late grandfather, A. Faber. Don Quixote’s lance was too thin to cast from bronze, so he had made it from thin brass bar profile. But it got lost every time, and it bent easily. Then someone came up with the brilliant idea to replace it with an incense stick. Perfect! Too bad grandpa couldn’t see it anymore, but I don’t really think he would have liked it of course. When it came to his work, he was very serious. Besides that, it was always a lot of fun with my grandparents. The object is now waiting for a nice new piece of brass. Fortunately, the bronze can take a lot of cleaning to erase this little outing.
