63 Electric Bells

PTT Telecom phone bells, design 1955. Brought to life again, to operate with a foot switch. It is connected to the main power line with a transformer/adapter from 220 VAC to 22 VAC. The sound is not as loud as it should be because the voltage is half of what was intended, actually much better this way, softer. I think the sound is noisy and has deliberately a false pitch to attract as much attention as possible in, for example, a factory hall, where machines are running. Unlike the sound of Telecom Doorbells, which is intended for the desk, for example.

Dimensions: 22 x 10 x 15 cm, length wire to foot switch: 2 meter (±5%)
Materials: piece of plywood 10 mm, various electrical parts, euro plug connection cable.
