Rubber lamps made with parts salvaged from a washing machine and other appliances as part of the LEDS & MEDS series. By creating a lamp from seemingly worthless parts you can create something unique and valuable and give objects a new function and context. Thanks to its diminutive scale, a lamp like this can quickly be constructed and this creation was simply a joy to make. (When compared to a painting which may require a full year of work.) By working rapidly, a dynamic is created which cannot be found in my more painstaking works. These little, all-purpose lamps make a great gift for any occasion.
